The turning wheel is an aluminum die casting part that used for boat turning system. This part is made from A360 aluminum alloy, even though A360 is hard to cast,  but it offers higher strength at better mechanical strength and higher corrosion resistance than the A380.

The biggest challenge for this project is about deburring and surface treatment. This part requires very smooth touch feeling, a normal worker can hardly achieve such a quality. We must arrange experienced operator to achieve the high polish surface. As we know, nowadays the labor cost in China is going higher and higher, it’s not easy for us.

After this process, we need to get the surface treatment by powder-coating, which we deal with the process in house our factory. A 12-hour of salt-spray test and rubbing test must be applied before shipment.
