Cradle core is a medical die casting part that we developed and manufactured for a China local hospital. It’s made from aluminum ADC10 by cold chamber die casting process. As this part is used for the pump motor of a medical device which requires light weight and strong mechanical strength.

However the client defined a very tight tolerance as 0.02mm(concentricity). To meet this tolerance challenge, we made a special measurement fixture that used for concentricity measuring via CMM machine. our QC used SPC control measure to take the dimension statistics for every two hours’ production. A CPK 0.33 is our quality criteria for both production and final shipment.

Up to now, we have produced 200,000 pcs of this cradle core for the client. We keep 98% of goods acceptance. This how our client satisfy with our professional die casting service.
