Bottom housing is an electronic part with ADC10 material. As a professional die casting manufacturer, we were asked to produce this part for a UK client. It’s produced with large volume for over 1,000,000 pcs annually.
In this process, the metal needs to be melted first in a separate crucible. A certain amount of molten metal is then transferred to an unheated injection chamber or nozzle. These metals are injected into the mold by hydraulic or mechanical pressure. Due to the need to transfer molten metal into the cold chamber, the biggest disadvantage of this process is the long cycle time.
Although we got such a big order, we had never neglected the quality control processes. we take strict quality control from raw material, casting process, secondary process, finish, to packaging.
